A trip along the Rail Baltic railway bridge
The first Rail Baltic construction works have begun, soon a lot will change in nature and will be demolished. In 2021, a historic bomb shelter or a secret bunker was dismantled, about which there was no publicly available information. We will learn where the bunker was and what was in it.
We will see several Riga neighbourhoods (Tornakalns, Zasulauks, Sampeteris, Zolitude, Mukupurvs), walking along the railway from the central station to the Airport Riga.
Start is at the last bus stop “Abrenes iela”.
We will finish the trip at the terminal of Airport Riga.
The educational trip takes place in Green Mode, produce your certificates!
There are no specific requirements to clothing. An umbrella or a raincoat, spare shoes or socks may come in handy – there will be various coverings.
Take snacks and drinks for lunch with you. Shops will be available almost everywhere.
